Security Training

In recent years, there has been a rise in asymmetric threats and incidents, threatening the security and physical safety of civilians (terrorist attacks and armed robberies), that take place in Banks, Malls, Museums, Department Stores, etc. where many people are present and/or employed.

These threats and incidents can, in many cases, be prevented beforehand, and their negative outcome and impact, in the majority of them, can be reduced as well.

Biosafety has designed two specialized Training Programs concerning the Physical Safety of businesses’ and corporations’ employees.

Biosafety’s Physical Safety programs aim to provide training to Managers, Security Personnel, and personnel employed in types of businesses mentioned above, that could possibly face such incidents.

Physical Safety Training Programs are implemented by Biosafety’s certified instructors-trainers.

The main objective of the programs, is to guide employees in identifying suspicious behaviors and imminent threats, while training them in management methods. It is crucial to realize that irrational or inexperienced actions, during an event might have dire consequences (i.e. taking hostages, injuries, deaths).

A special feature provided in Physical Safety programs is the systemic practical exercise, where participants gain physical experience regarding the training’s topics, take place in real-life terrorist attacks and robberies scenarios, while emphasis is given to specific points of interest:

  • Demonstration and recognition of weaponry and their capabilities
  • Self-defence, learning basic disarming techniques and use of everyday-objects as defence tools
